Privacy Policy

At Alojando App - Property Management System we respect your privacy and the privacy of the guests and owners whose data you manage through the platform. This policy describes what information we collect, what we use it for, and what rights you have over your personal data. It applies to both the website and the Alojando mobile application.
1. Data controller
Alojando App - Property Management System is operated by Alojando, LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Delaware (United States of America), with address at 131 Continental Dr, Suite 305, Newark, DE 19713, USA. 2. Data we collect
We distinguish three categories:
- Account data: name, email, hashed password, optional phone number, and billing details when you sign up for a paid plan.
- Usage data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, date and time of access, error logs and performance metrics.
- Guest and owner data: information you upload or sync (name, contact details, documents, booking dates, amounts). For this data we act as the processor and you are the controller.
3. Purpose of processing
We use your data to:
- Provide the contracted PMS service.
- Process payments and issue invoices through MercadoPago.
- Send you operational communications (alerts, reminders, booking status changes).
- Improve the platform through aggregate statistical analysis.
- Comply with legal, accounting and tax obligations.
4. Legal basis
Processing is based on (a) performance of the contract you enter into by accepting the Terms and Conditions, (b) the consent you give when you register, (c) the legitimate interests of Alojando App - Property Management System to improve the service and prevent fraud, and (d) compliance with applicable legal obligations, including the Argentine Personal Data Protection Law 25.326, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2016/679 for users in the European Economic Area, and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) for California residents.
5. Sharing data with third parties
We share data exclusively with the following providers and categories of third parties, each with its own privacy policy and under data processing agreements:
- Infrastructure providers: Vercel Inc. (web hosting + edge functions), Neon (PostgreSQL database), Vercel Blob (image and document storage), Cloudflare (DNS and CDN), Resend (transactional email delivery).
- Payment processors: MercadoPago (Mercado Libre S.R.L.) for charges in Argentine pesos and Stripe, Inc. (via Stripe Connect Standard) for charges in US dollars and other international currencies.
- Push notifications: A third-party push notifications service provider to deliver alerts to the iOS and Android mobile application. We store an opaque device identifier (push token) associated with your account.
- WhatsApp messaging: A third-party WhatsApp messaging service provider for sending transactional messages (task alerts, reminders) when the property manager configures the integration in /panel/integraciones.
- AI processing: A third-party AI service provider for automated parsing of booking emails. Email content is sent to the model only for structured data extraction; it is not used for model training.
- Sync platforms: Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo and similar services when you authorize the iCal or API integration, and channel manager aggregators if you connect them.
- Competent authorities where there is a legal obligation to disclose under a valid court order or administrative requirement.
We do not sell or transfer personal data to third parties for commercial or advertising purposes.
6. International transfers
As Alojando, LLC is a Delaware (USA) entity and many of our infrastructure, payments, messaging and technical service providers operate servers primarily in the United States and the European Union, your data may be transferred and processed outside Argentina. These transfers are carried out in compliance with the protection clauses provided by Law 25.326 and under contractual agreements (Data Processing Agreements and EU Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable) that guarantee an adequate level of protection.
6.bis Mobile application
Our iOS and Android mobile application (Alojando PMS) is intended exclusively for property managers subscribed to the service. In addition to the data described in previous sections, the app collects:
- Push notification token: an opaque identifier generated by iOS (APNs) or Android (FCM) to deliver event notifications (new booking, guest message, confirmed payment). We store it associated with your account and delete it when you log out or uninstall the app.
- Device information: operating system version, device model, language and app version — used for error diagnostics and compatibility. Does not include advertising identifiers (IDFA/AAID) and is not used for cross-app tracking.
- Error and diagnostic logs: if the app crashes, we collect the stack trace, crash context and affected screen to identify and fix bugs. Does not include sensitive content (messages, guest data).
The app does NOT collect your location (unless you explicitly authorize it for a specific feature), does NOT access your contacts or photos without explicit permission, and does NOT contain advertisements or third-party tracking.
7. Retention period
We retain your data for as long as your account is active and for an additional period to comply with legal obligations (typically 10 years for accounting records). Guest and owner data uploaded to your account is deleted when you delete it or when you cancel your subscription and request removal from backups.
8. Your rights
As a data subject you can exercise your rights of access, rectification, update and erasure at any time by writing to us at soporte@alojando.app. We respond within 10 calendar days. If you believe the processing is inadequate, you may file a complaint with the Argentine Agency for Access to Public Information (AAIP).
9. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data: encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), passwords hashed with bcrypt, role-based access control, encrypted backups and periodic audits. However, no system is 100% impenetrable — we recommend using strong passwords and keeping your credentials private.
10. Minors
The service is directed exclusively to people over 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you discover that a minor has uploaded data to the platform, please notify us so we can delete it.
11. Changes
We may update this policy to reflect legal or service changes. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 30 days in advance. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
